The first Coffee and Politics gathering of the legislative session is slated for Saturday, Feb. 2, from 11 am to noon at the Welcome Center at Thomas Jefferson Gardens, 201 E. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson. State senator Jerry Behn and state representative Phil Thompson, who were elected to represent Greene County, will attend.
The public is welcome to listen to their comments on the recently-opened legislative session and ask questions. Rick Morain will be moderator.
Coffee and Politics is hosted by the Thomas Jefferson Gardens board and Greene County Republicans. The TG board will provide coffee, juice and bars.
